My heart is so painful

National Museum of American History is part of the Smithsonian Institution and located in Washington D.C.

You know National Museum of American History where it preserves and displays the heritage of the United States in the areas of socail, political, cultural, scientific and military history

So, you can get more knowledge than you read books.

First, in the first floor, I can divide into two parts of wing. In the East Wing of the first floor,it focuses on transportation and technology and includes "Lighting a revolution".

In the West wing of the first floor, it includes science in American Life featuring Robots on the Road. Also YOU CAN SEE Julia Child's Kitchen at the Smithsonian.

Do you Know Julia Child?

Julia Child (August 15, 1912 – August 13, 2004) was an American chef, author and television personality. She introduced French cuisine and cooking techniques to the American mainstream through her many cookbooks and television programs, notably The French Chef which premiered in 1963. Her most well-known cookbook is Mastering the Art of French Cooking, published in 1961.

You can see her kitahcen that is very impressive.

National Museum of American History

The National Museum of American History is one of the Smithsonian Institution museums located on The Mall in Washington DC.

The museum first opened in 1964 as the Museum of History and Technology. The building was one of the last structures designed by renowned architectural firm McKim Mead & White. In 1980, the museum was renamed The National Museum of American History to better represent a refocused mission: the collection, care, study and interpretation of objects that reflect the experience of the American people.

This project makes me so happy

Come and See me and my wife~~

Are we smiling right now?

You better watch out

You better not cry

Jay and culture

My title is " looking for U.S Culture.

I don't know why I made it like that

But, I want to try something to do

By the way, I think culture is not far away, but is near our lives.

Let's go back to my story!

I went to National Museom of Natural History with my wife who really liked going to that museom because we didn't have many time to visit there even though we have been in the U.S for almost 3 years.

Anyway, for my profect and peace of family, we went to there.

The weather was fine.

I took pictures in fornt of National Museum of Natiural History which was established in 1910.

for this museum, some peole donated a lot money, 80 million ~~~~~, 20 million ~~

There are many halls such as Hall of Geology, Gems, and Minerals, Dinosaurs/Hall of Paleobiology, Hall of Mammals, Insect Zoo, Ocean Hall, African Voices, Butterflies + Plants: Partners In Evolution, and Western Cultures Hall.

Personally, I like Dinosaurs. maybe some of people liked waching a video: JURASSIC PARK when they were a child. The museum has over 570,000 catalogued reptiles from around the world. The National Collection of Amphibians and Reptiles has increased 200% over the past 40 years (190,000 specimen records in 1970 to over 570,000 specimen records in 2008.

The Hall of Dinosaurs has fossilized skeletons and cast models, including Tyrannosaurus rex facing off with Triceratops.

I posted one of the bones of dinosaurs that is so awesome ~~~

Next Saturday, I am going to go to National Museum of American History.

Do you expect that?

coming soon~~~

A zebra

so cute~~~
